Messed up superdream
So i just woke up from a dream, which began in my own real world. I was sentenced to be hanged to death for an unspecified murder, and I was getting ready. After dressing up like I was going on a date, I left the house and entered this weird Stygian labyrinth where I met the judge, a forbidding woman, my old lover who I hated in the dream. I was told that I had to play a game of skill for my life, this was the trial. The game proposed was a capture the flag of sorts, with a field with two sides as in any ball game. The field however was also a board, as in chess and was in a giant darkened cavern. The game consisted on ten players on each side, tearing through this cavernous field and reaching the other end to find a randomly determined object, lent significance by the game. They had to return this object to their own side without being struck, and the object would burst into flame and disintegrate, only to be replaced by another mundane object. A shoe. A book. A tub of yoghurt.
However, the other side began to cheat, using their arcane skill to lend them help against use. The only incident I remember before waking is that of a ten year old boy on the other side, a creature with more experience than his face allowed for, sculpting hideous cartoon creatures out of clay. Twisted and screaming cats and writing potato-like foetus creatures, all tubers and blank faces. When he finished each, the came to a slow, silicose life and the boy would reach high and plunge a dagger into them, bisecting each one perfectly and pulling out clay organs he had never shaped, which I knew contained some potency which would destroy me….and then my eyes opened. Dream inspired doodles to come we hope
